Policies and Strategies for Improving the Research and Scientific Publications Quality at State Islamic Religious Colleges in Kalimantan

The quality of research and scientific publications is an essential concern in managing higher education institutions. Therefore, this aims to examine the policies strategies for enhancing State Islamic Religious Colleges. This a qualitative study that gathers data from library field research. findings show each university already has regulations based on provisions Ministry Higher Education, including Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) External (SPME), quality. Additionally, UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, Samarinda, IAIN Palangkaraya are improving their lecturers with such as allocating 30% BOPTN funds implementing LITAPDIMAS system. However, outputs benefits these have not been fully realized due budget absorption issues limit development publication culture. developing culture presents significant challenge requires long-term commitment participation all stakeholders. culture-building process should start upstream downstream aspects.
